Of the many things that Marcel has in his shop for trade, the only item he will not sell is a black hourglass full of white sand. It is a very old relic, with a twisted design reminiscent of Amaroutine architecture.It is through this artifact that he has obtained his undying state, and though it must be sustained with blood, it conveys certain abilities and benefits to the individual who possesses it.It is said that there may only be one master of the hourglass at a time, and so Marcel is incapable of creating progeny, though he may create servants who have been imbued with some part of his power.

   Bontensont Antiquities.      As an individual who is old and who has traveled the world, Marcel has collected a variety of antiques and goods, some of which he restores, or has restored, and offers for sale for those who are discerning collectors. For those who are not in the know, this is a family business that had spanned generations. For those who are in the know, each time it has been Marcel at the helm.   Well Traveled Businessman.      Marcel has traveled across many corners of the world, and has had the opportunity to partake of the cultures, languages and experiences of those varied locales. It is entirely possible to have run across him during one of his various journeys, either as a more recent acquaintance or from his far older days. He is currently working to expand his business into Ishgard and take advantage of the new openness to trade and foreigners they're enjoying.   Foreign Origins.      While it is rare that someone clocks his unique background, there are times when one might catch him reminiscing about his first home and his history there. He has, with some dubious success, claimed to be Dalmascan and with a wide population of foreigners traversing in and out of Rabanastre and the country itself prior to its fall to Garlean conquest, who can say if he's telling the truth or not?   Sanguine Notes.      Of the many secrets that Marcel keeps close to his chest, that of his nature is first and foremost among them. With skin that is cooler to the touch, bright crimson eyes that almost glow and a set of sharp fangs hiding behind his charming smile, there is little question of what exactly Marcel is. When asked about his age, he often responds with an irreverent shrug; he cannot tell you what he himself does not know.

   01      Multi-muse RPer. Very lore flexible towards abiding, but not lore strict. I enjoy a multitude of genres across the spectrum; horror, mystery, adventure, drama, romance, but struggle with strictly slice-of-life/fluff.   02      CST/CDT timezone with severe night owl tendencies, usually from 7pm-onward. I am most easily found through Discord, or via In-Game tells.   03      Preference for darker or more mature RP topics. Consent will be requested for darker/heavier topics and I expect the same courtesy in return.   04      All of my characters are LGBTQ+ and largely polyamorous. Romance requires very high chemistry and ERP must be plot relevant.   05      I have a strong preference for in-game RP, but will play over Discord if that's all timing allows for after we've been RPing for a while.   06      I am 40+; and prefer to RP with other people over the age of 21+. No minors, OOC or IC.   07      I've been RPing for 25+ years across various mediums with experience as both a player and as a storyteller. While I love my drama, I love it ICly and not OOCly. If you're worried about anything, please just ask - I value strong communication most of all.
